Meet Our Makers

Amy Shinerock Pottery

Amy Shinerock is a gifted potter, who has worked at her craft since the 1970s. She has a master’s degree in ceramics and spent many years in Japan studying wood-firing techniques. Her vessels are created with the intention to achieve inner stillness and yield beauty. Now settled in West Medford, MA Amy continues to create beautiful pieces with a Japanese touch, and provide the Marketplace with a large selection of unique pottery.

JB Fine Art

Jocelyn Brown
is one of our most recently accepted vendors and lives in Peterborough, NH. A native of Ashburnham, MA, she received her bachelor’s degrees in both Fine Arts and Art Education with a minor in Glass from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston. She is a juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and she creates glass art out of her home. Jocelyn owns and operates Shining Spiral Healing Arts where she offers individual Reiki sessions. Jocelyn is also a visiting art instructor at Robin’s Nest Nature Preschool in Peterborough, NH.

Tim Campbell Art

Tim Campbell and his dog Otis are Southwestern New Hampshire natives and favorites among our customers. Tim is a self-taught artist whose work can be found in galleries across the country, including the American Folk Art Gallery in New York City. Tim aims to create humorous, thought-provoking work, often inspired by New England animals, scenery, and architecture. Tim’s work can be found on his Etsy page and his website.

Geo-Graphic Gems LLC

Marcia Passos discovered the technique to transform old National Geographic magazines into works of art by accident. The process dissolves ink on magazine pages that are printed on clay-based paper, creating brilliant abstract designs. She was inspired by this idea and decided to use her long time collection of National Geographic magazines as a base for vibrant pieces of jewelry. After a period of trial and error Marcia now creates many different types of jewelry, attends craft shows, and sells through different retail stores including ours.
