Walpole Mountain View Winery at Barnett Hill Vineyard, LLC

A prime mission with each vintage is to create a wide variety of wine styles from our unique grapes in order to appeal to the novice wine drinker as well as the most sophisticated palate. Offering varietals and blends, reds, whites, blushes, and roses, ranging from the driest of dry wines through dessert “late harvest” sweet. Belgian Mare Brewery
207 Gilsum Mine Road, East Alstead, NH – 603-504-5370: Tim Roettiger, owner and brewer. A small wood-fired brewery specializing in bottle conditioned traditional ales. Tim feels that what he brews and how he brews it are equally important. Summer hours: Friday 3-7 pm, Sat & Sun 2-7 pm.

226 Poocham Road, Westmoreland, NH – 603-399-4496: Owners and Winemakers: Steve Robbins and Mame O’Dette. Good grapes make good wine. They choose the best grapes for their land and carefully attend to each vine. The vineyard is small that pruning, mid-season care, and harvesting is all done by hand. They personally monitor the sugar and acidity of each variety of grape to determine the optimum time for picking, then those grapes are hand picked and the wine making begins. Tasting Room Hours September 6th through November 30th Sat. and Sun. from 11 – 5, private tastings by appointment.
